Introduction to High Performance and High Throughput Computing is a hands-on course.
Course content and practical exercises will be delivered via a combination of videos and presentation. You will need a Legion account and be able to connect to Legion to partake in the course activities.
Practical activities are only available to UCL colleagues with a Legion account
Details of the account application process and a link to the application form can be viewed on the Research Computing Wiki
Please note that if you are a student or postdoctoral researcher, your application must be approved by a permanent member of staff (normally your supervisor or PI).
Cluster Room computers can be used for the course activities, but if you can, we recommend using your own laptop to follow these notes, as the tools will then be ready for use in your research.
Instructions for connecting to UCL’s research computing systems can be viewed on the Research Computing Wiki
